Lace Roller Derby Moto Legging

Very neat lace leggings!, 11.26.2020

I love leggings with lace insets, but my glorious thighs of thunder tend to make short work of destroying lace on pants. Because of this problem I almost did not try these, but I am SO glad I did! In addition to the beautiful design of the derby leggings, the fantastic pockets, and the super soft and supportive main fabric, this lace is just to die for. It feels more like powermesh than mere moral lace, and stands up to everything Thunder and Lightning (my thighs) can throw at these amazing leggings. On top of that, the design of the lace is very unique and looks more like kitty spots than flowers, which is just adorable. I hope to see more items in the future with this beautiful and sturdy lace!

Not kidding about sizing up!, 7.15.2020

Definitely get the next size up if you are anywhere near the size fence! I'm just about dead center medium and am not 100% about the fit, especially around the fullest part of my hips/butt. What I love about these: The pockets cool wrap around design are big enough to tuck my phone in behind my hip and something else small (a mini breath mint tin or a credit card & my ID) around the front of my hip, its kind of like having two pockets. The lace is feels sturdy and isn't scratchy at all, it has a smooth texture that's fun to touch, I think its a huge improvement over the mesh in the previous version of the Derby Moto leggings. They are just the right amount more demure than the Derby Moto leggings (which for me are just a tad too sexy for everyday wear). The waistband doesn't feel or look bulky under tops. What I would change if I could wave a magic wand: While the mediums fit me great around the waist and the thighs, the "snug compressing fit that will hold and shape" does so in the wrong places: they smush my butt in a way that makes it look less round and perky than some other brands of leggings. The black solid material is so thick that where those panels join the seams feel bulky, and the way these are styled - there are a lot of panels (I do realize the upside is the thickness of the fabric bodes well for their longevity).

The best leggings ever. I love these. This is my 6th pair of Melos. Super comfortable, incredibly well made and they have pockets!!! Fit like a dream and are perfect for yoga, bellydance or just hanging out. I purchased the small in black. I absolutely love the unique roller derby design. The lace on the sides are super sturdy. Melodias' are the best!!

Feeling like hot stuff, 7.9.2020

These are super flattering! It's like booty shorts meets leggings. The shorts portion is very secure and doesn't ride up at all. I love the lace on this, it's really different than what one usually expects but it's really edgy. I have some of the other moto leggings with contrast stitching that I love, but these are even softer. I don't know how Melodia was able to find even softer fabric but I'm loving it!
