This top is as sparkly and sleek as it is comfortable. It stretches and moves with you as you dance. The mock turtle neck is so soft an stretchy that even if you tend to feel claustrophobic from normal turtleneck situations like I do, this is no problem. The high neckline provides an excellent base/protective layer for all those giant necklaces of unknown metal content that are so beautiful but can irritate sensitive skin or leave green marks when worn next to the skin. The same is true for the sleeves, as the material makes an excellent base for large bracelets that can irritate the skin in one way or another. The sleeves are a great length that (for me) goes over onto my hand just a bit to help my arms look longer and help present my arm movements in a more flattering way. The pieces of the top are expertly lain out during the cutting process in a way that showcases the incredible shapes of the faux assuit fabric. That careful pattern placement and expert matching is a component of Melodia’s attention to detail that sets her designs worlds apart. I adore this top.
